Enhanced levels of energy! Most pre-workouts are heavy on stimulants, Turbo is just packed with just the right amount of stimulants!
A Clean Focus right throughout your workout, Turbo is full of nootropic ingredients to help with your focus through your workout!

Pure Labs have since take Turbo’s formulation back to the drawing board and concocted their best version to date, the all NEW Turbo, which utilises effective dosages of key researched ingredients to deliver new heights in regards to energy levels, focus, skin tearing pumps, enhanced vascularity, extended endurance and above all else elevated Strength & Power output.

Beta-Alanine is a non essential amino acid which is classified as a non-proteinogenic amino acid as it is not used in the building of protein.

Boosts explosive muscular strength and power output.

Increases muscle mass.

Boosts muscular anaerobic endurance.

Increases aerobic endurance.

Increases exercise capacity.

By boosting concentrations of beta alanine, our Type 2 muscle fibers can soak-up more Hydrogen, thereby helping us stay in an optimal pH range (ie, less acidic). By keeping our bodies in an optimal pH range, we are better able to maintain maximal strength and endurance throughout training or competition.

Arginine alpha-ketoglutarate is a dietary supplement consisting of the amino acid arginine — a building block of protein — and alpha-ketoglutarate, a compound that breaks down sugars and amino acids.

Arginine is widely known for producing nitric oxide, which as we all know is responsible for providing instant gratification in the gym in the the form of roadmap vascularity. Research found that supplementing with AAKG over arginine increased arginine levels and beneficially influenced peak power output on short-duration, high-intensity movements common in bodybuilding.

Glycerol Monostearate is included specifically to enhance the effects of other ingredients through greatly improving both their efficacy and absorption rate. So as a result less of the active ingredient is needed.

More specifically within this formulation it will enhance the effects of caffeine thereby removing the need to have 3-400mg of caffeine per serving like many other high stim pre workouts, in return this will free up more allowance per serving for more ingredients or more of another ingredient.

Citrulline supplementation is mainly used for improving ammonia recycling within the body and producing nitric oxide, which is known for its skin tearing, bulging vein pumps. Citrulline also helps to delay fatigue – meaning you will be performing to your best in your workouts even towards the end.

Malate, or malic acid, is a salt compound that binds to citrulline and other various other supplements to give them stability within the body. However, malate is also thought to have fatigue-fighting capabilities of its own, by helping the body recycle lactic acid and use it for energy.

Citrulline Nitrate provides the same benefits as other forms of citrulline, however it takes longer to take effect within the body. This timed release effect of Citrulline Nitrate will ensure that the pump will become much stronger and stronger again the further you get into your workout, causing your muscles to feel like they are constantly increasing in size and about to burst, similar to that of blowing up a balloon!

Taurine is an amino acid that’s found in large amounts in the heart and brain. Unlike other amino acids Taurine does not help to build muscle because it doesn’t link with other amino acids or the building blocks of protein. However, research has shown taurine to improve mental and athletic performance.

For example, as we age our taurine concentrations decrease within the brain so supplementing taurine to heighten concentrations will improve your memory and mental function.

A different study found that supplementing with taurine before your workout showed significant increases in VO2max (the maximum capacity of a person’s body to transport and use oxygen) and time until exhaustion set in.

Taurine has also been included to combat one of many arch enemies of athletes, that is your muscle cramping mid workout. By supplementing taurine it will help to prevent this from occurring whilst you train.

Glycine is an essential for many different muscle, cognitive and metabolic functions. For example, it helps break down and transport nutrients like glycogen and fat to be used by cells for energy, and in the process, it supports strong immune, digestive and nervous systems. Other benefits are:

helping build lean muscle mass

preventing scaropenia (muscle loss, muscle wasting or deterioration)

playing a role in the production of human growth hormone

boosting mental performance and memory

protecting collagen in joints and reducing joint pain

improving flexibility and range of motion

improving sleep quality

boosting energy levels and fighting fatigue

helping produce red blood cells

fighting the effects of stress and anxiety

Many brands have begun to stop using caffeine in fear of appearing generic, but Pure labs believe otherwise, and have done in regards to all of their pre workout formulations. Reason being that caffeine has been proven time and time again to be one of the most proven ergogenic aids with countless benefits therefore it earned the right to stay with the all new improved formulation.

Caffeine reduces the ability of adenosine to bind to the receptors thereby preventing it from causing neural activity to slow down and make you feel sleepy. With the nerve cells being stimulated through the introduction of caffeine, they release the hormone epinephrine (adrenaline), which causes; an increase in blood flow to muscles, improvement in the transportation of oxygen throughout the body, performance enhancement. Caffeine has also known for increasing your dopamine levels which in turn enhances cognitive functioning capabilities and neuromuscular coordination.

Theacrine is an alkaloid structurally similar to Caffeine, and preliminary evidence suggests that it activates similar signalling pathways, the evidence also went on to suggest your body has less of a tolerance with theacrine when compared to caffeine.

A study noted that stimulation with theacrine failed to find any tolerance over the course of seven days, a time frame where caffeine would normally show tolerance. This suggests that the body either does not or may have a reduced tolerance to theacrine.

Citrus Aurantium, otherwise also known as bitter orange, amongst many other names, is derived from the bitter orange plant.

Supplementing Citrus Aurantium has a key number of benefits such as increasing metabolic rates, an increase of caloric expenditure, as well as increasing of energy levels.

For those who may be thinking why have we included a ‘banned ingredient’, then you may want to reconsider as Pure Labs have done their research and keep themselves up to date with the MHRA’s banned ingredient list. With that being said Citrus Aurantium is only illegal if 30% or more of the active ingredient is present within the formula and therefore to both meet legal requirements whilst still turbocharging your energy levels they have used under 25%.

Bioperine is commonly referred to as black pepper. This has been included in Turbo specifically because of its ability to stimulate your taste buds in such a way that an alert is sent to the stomach to increase hydrochloric acid secretion, thereby improving digestion. This will aid you in the digestion of Turbo and thereby improve your body to utilise the specifically designed formulation to reap all of the intended benefits.
