Insulin gets a bad name due to people thinking it stores fat….it doesn’t.  It stores Carbs, but not NOT fat.
Eating too many calories makes you put on body fat. Insulin says to the body, store carbs, stop burning fat. This is not the same as ‘store fat’
Manipulating insulin through carbohydrates intake does not impact fat loss if you are in a calorie deficit. A Calorie deficit is what’s needed to lose weight, not manipulating insulin. Eat carbs and lose weight. Eat fats and lose weight. Go whichever method you prefer and can stick to long term.
